No, I don’t believe in you anymore, anymore..Ok enough with the nonsense. How does it seem that we go from having a bond with someone to completely not believing in them at all? What’s the deal breaker? Well I guess first off thats probably different for different people. My point being is how are we supposed to trust anyone when they very well could become the object of this song? Is every romance a set up for failure or is there just always the chance of a casualty?

Here We Go Again and Again and Again…..

It’s the Sunday before Thanksgiving and you wouldn’t think that’s a big deal. Well, to me it is. For this reason only, its as if I’m a gymnast starting her floor routine and I’m about to cartwheel and flip and turn and leap and find myself in the full blown holiday season. I really don’t know if I’m ready for this. Unfortunately as with most things in life, life is telling me I better be ready or else I’m going to be swept up like the last of the Halloween candy. I’m forced to be alone with my thoughts and think about how different my life is now from what it was last year.

Working Out the Tweaks

We don’t arrive on this planet perfect and I’m pretty sure we don’t leave it that way either. Working  through our obstacles can be challenging and rewarding at the same time. Although when we bring another person into mix sometimes we create chaos.  Sometimes we look for a perfect person but I’m starting to believe we need to look for the person who perfectly balances us. Instead of someone setting us off we should strive for someone that equates serenity in us and someone who loves us whether we have worked out the “bugs” we were born with or whether we’re still tweaking them.

Sometimes We Go It Alone……

If I’ve learned anything in my twenty four years on this planet I’ve learned that sometimes the hardest battles are the ones you fight against yourself. Sometimes the odds are so stacked against you that you can’t see the light of day and you feel like you’re taking a sledge hammer to that wall that divides you from the rest of the world but in reality you are only making dents. Dents that seem to be disappearing with the fading sunlight and your fading hope. When you’re all alone and you have only you to lean on how can you help but fall? How can you help but not give up and give in to the forces that prevail. How, how how? Better yet, why? Why should you have to fight such a battle, why should I? It’s not whether we should but whether we will. Pick up your hammer and take another crack at that wall, then do it again. And again, over and over till you’re tired and sore and you can hardly see straight. Do it till you feel, till you breathe till you know who you are and what you want and what you’re here for. Do it for me and for you. I’m alone. You’re alone. Essentially we’re all alone and we ache in this loneliness. But we can all be united by the want and desire to overcome the challenges of life. Hold on to yourself and hold on to that hope even if its hanging by a thread. The only thing constant in life is change and you never know when your life is changing, hang on. Just hang on…….

Another Dictator Wins….

I’ve had writer’s block lately and I’ve been waiting for something to hit me. Well, something certainly hit me and it made me completely irate in the process. I’m sitting at home doing nothing and I happened to catch the re run of last week’s Real World Sydney. Ok, for anyone who saw it, if you haven’t figured out why I’m irate yet, please get your head checked. This girl, let’s call her Shauvon, has decided to leave Australia because the man she loves has basically told her she has to.
